What We All Know
And what Trump can no longer hide
From the beginning, I have always said that Trump’s true power comes from his ability to create truth rather than report it. For MAGA, nothing he says is true because it can be proven true, but instead, everything is true because Trump says it. No evidence is necessary. Only emotion is needed, and only emotion is wanted. For MAGA, how Trump makes them feel is the only thing that matters, which is why the MAGAs in your life are impossible to argue with; no amount of reason can penetrate the wall they use to keep the hate in and the facts out.
And while that wall cannot be penetrated, it’s beginning to appear as if it can be scaled. This is why the Epstein Files are so important, not only because of the difficult truths they reveal, but because the sheer volume of them makes them nearly impossible to deny. Any single piece of evidence can be called fake, but millions of pieces cannot. To extend the metaphor, the wall between hate and truth may be impenetrable, but the tsunami that is the Epstein Files can certainly get over it, and that is what has Trump so terrified. He simply can’t manufacture enough truth to prevent the flood, though he is certainly trying.
There have been many hot takes about Trump’s Christmas messages, and our mainstream media has certainly done its share of sane-washing his nonsense. But the truth is that each of Trump’s angry rants is less hinged than the one that came before it, and what I would ask my readers to see in them is the flailing desperation of it all. Sentence after broken sentence made up of fact-free accusations coming from a man who knows his lies don’t have the effect they used to. That’s what we’re seeing.
Simply put, MAGA is fracturing because it was built on a foundation of lies that can no longer support the weight of Trump’s disgusting criminal past. Many of the formerly faithful are beginning to come to terms with the fact that they are entirely owned by the same rich pedophiles they say they’re fighting against. After all, MAGA’s whole “drain the swamp” origin story was most likely written on Epstein Island by obscenely rich men who abuse children for sport. As Karl Marx once said, “Accuse your enemy of what you are doing, as you are doing it, to create confusion.” We call it projection, and it is the very beating heart of Trumpism in America.
But what the Epstein Files are showing us is that while projection is indeed incredibly powerful, it has its limits. Trump can lie about almost anything, but he can’t tell us that day is night and expect to be believed. The sky is blue no matter what Trump says it is. This is what the Epstein revelations are becoming – a kind of core understanding so ingrained in us that telling us it’s all just a hoax is very much like telling us the sky is green or that drinking bleach will kill the Covid virus.
Trump is currently breaking a multitude of laws in his efforts to keep the Epstein Files secret. Many of his minions will likely do jail time for helping him do this, and in the end, it simply isn’t going to work. He is what we always knew he was, and that simple truth will be known to all, and likely very soon. Call it a blue wave if you like, but it’s coming, and the dam of lies can no longer hold it back.
Merry Christmas, and may the New Year bring justice to those it has evaded for so long.
