Sadly, good people are hurt too. Time for Democrats to practice some tough love

I came across a post on Reddit’s “Leopards Ate My Face” page that sums up the tragic absurdity we’re all living through. A mom was panicking about how she’d make rent, keep her kids fed, and scrape together enough for baby formula during the shutdown. With her husband in school on the GI Bill, disability checks, and a toddler whose needs push her to the brink, her husband reached out to his mother for help. But, in one blunt reply, this woman’s mother-in-law made it brutally clear—she’s just as fed up with MAGAts as the rest of us — reminding them they “voted for this.”
