Is it really only Wednesday, my fellow Sexy Liberal political voices? Whew, it’s been a rough year this week.

I was out last night at my beloved Low Bar Chorale, a Portland indie choir that meets in a bar every few weeks and sings contemporary songs in three-part harmony with a live band. I didn’t look at social media the entire time. It was pretty glorious and everyone should have such a beautiful respite.

But even if I’d been home, I wouldn’t have watched King Baby’s address to Congress with anyone else’s eyes.
