I'm giving to toys for tots this week. I am not wealthy, but I give every year. I give toys geared to little BOYS because I noticed in the bins, there are WAY more geared to girls. I was a recipient one year when my kids were young. My little boy, was about 5 months old. He got a teddy bear. It became so important to him he still has it and he is now in his 30's. We love that bear, and we researched him (Teddy as he was known). It is worth a lot of money, not your average bear so to speak. Teddy is a collectors item. But my son would never part with him. That bear is so special. Someone who donated that year is forever in my heart.
