No, Elon Musk is Not a "Genius"

Elon Musk is just another lying fraud in this New Gilded Age of Grifters

Mainstream Media Gaslighting

For some unknown reason, mainstream media loves to herald Elon Musk as a “genius” or “visionary.” After Musk blasts out some juvenile pejorative or amplifies an antiemetic lie, some media pundits lament that he should just “stick to innovation.” It may be inexplicable that someone considered a “genius” behaves like a prepubescent in desperate need of therapy, but when you look at him through the lens of knowing he’s a grifter, it all makes sense.

Musk is Not an “Innovator”

Musk is neither a “visionary” nor an “innovator,” as any cursory dive into his history can verify. The son of a model and a wealthy businessman, Musk grew up in luxury, starkly contrasting with the lives of most South Africans during the apartheid era. His father sold their private jet for a significant stake in a Zambian emerald mine, increasing their already immense wealth on the backs of the exploited underclass. Like the pet president he purchased for a quarter of a billion, Musk likes to fabricate his origin story. He pretends to be someone who pulled himself up by his bootstraps while conveniently omitting tiny details like the fact that he was driven to school in a Rolls-Royce. His family’s connections paved the way for his move to Canada as a teenager, after which he would attain a Canadian visa and, to our utter misfortune, subsequently move to the United States.

Musk’s UPenn Degree is Doubtful

From Queen’s University in Ontario, the South African sociopath transferred to the University of Pennsylvania, where he claims to have earned bachelor’s degrees in physics and economics in 1997. However, there are longstanding accusations and legal filings showing he never obtained a degree from UPenn at all, but one was retroactively obtained by investors. A copy of his UPenn diploma, obtained through court discovery, includes multiple discrepancies that Musk continues to lie about.

The Capitol Hunters Expose Musk’s Lies

In 2022, the anonymous collective of online investigators known as “The Capitol Hunters” released a series of 30 tweets detailing Musk’s lifetime of lies and inflated accomplishments. The first tweet read:

"Someone has to say it: Elon Musk has lied for 27 years about his credentials. He does not have a BS in Physics, or any technical field. Did not get into a PhD program. Dropped out in 1995 & was illegal. Later, investors quietly arranged a diploma—but not in science.”

As the Capitol Hunters reported, after most likely not graduating from UPenn, Musk moved to California to allegedly pursue a PhD at Stanford University but left after just two days. Since Musk’s J-1 student visa did not allow for employment, his decision to abandon Stanford instantly made him an illegal immigrant. Once again, investors retroactively came to the rescue and later secured a work visa for him.

Early Deception: The Zip2 Saga

Like a P.T. Barnum at the beginning of the digital age, Musk partnered with his brother on a digital yellow pages called “Zip2.” Not the coding genius he purports to be, the program was so simple that he created a fake casing around the Zip2 computer to “wow” investors into thinking it was some sort of supercomputer. Through this deceit, he acquired a $3 million investment, though the investors required him to step down as CEO so someone who actually knew what they were doing could lead the company. At this point, Elon’s sloppy coding skills were exposed, leading to the company having to hire people who actually knew what they were doing to rewrite it from scratch. Along with his underwhelming technical prowess, it’s at Zip2 where Elon’s abhorrent management style was first reported, as he expected his employees to spend every waking minute of their lives going “hardcore” on orders from a malignant narcissist whose only real skill set was having a rich daddy.

Damn The Safety Concerns

This “leadership” style continues to this day, I suppose, to overcompensate for the fact that he’s nothing but a grifter who made some profitable investments at the right time, made possible by the exploited sweat of others generating money he didn’t earn. From Zip2, Musk bought his way into Tesla and SpaceX, where his trend of inflicting his untreated manias on humanity continues.

In the case of Tesla, with the help of well-funded legal and marketing teams, Musk sued to be able to call himself a “founder” after the actual founders, Martin Eberhard and Marc Tarpenning, got sick of him labeling himself as such when he did nothing but buy into an existing company and proceed to wreck it.

Thanks to Musk’s lack of concern for basic safety standards, Tesla's aesthetically unpleasing Cybertruck has a fatality rate of 14.5 per 100,000 units—17 times higher than the infamous Ford Pinto that had the inconvenient flaw of sometimes blowing up. The ugly Cybertruck, which looks like a prop from a 1950s alien invasion movie, has faced seven recalls in 2023, including a trapped accelerator pedal issue.

Damn The Safety Concerns - Again

In 2022, the release of Tesla's “full self-driving” software on Thanksgiving Day caused an eight-car pileup on the San Francisco Bay Bridge. Despite warnings from engineers and safety advocates about potential risks, Elon Musk released the update anyway, insisting on a self-imposed deadline that prioritized rapid innovation and market competition over safety. The incident resulted in nine people suffering minor injuries, including a juvenile who required hospitalization. Don’t worry, Elon Musk’s “remedy” for these crashes is to convince the convicted felon president he purchased not to gather statistics about crashes caused by self-driving cars—like that horribly “inefficient” government under Sleepy Joe Biden used to do.

SpaceX - Damn The Safety Concerns - As Usual

As for SpaceX, under his leadership, SpaceX has experienced a troubling number of rocket failures, which Musk dismissively refers to as "rapid unscheduled disassemblies.” What does he care? The overseer of “government efficiency” has no problem burning taxpayer money allotted to him through lucrative government contracts. The SpaceX “Falcon 1” had a staggering 60% failure rate, with three out of five launches resulting in failure. In contrast, NASA's Space Shuttle program had a failure rate of about 1.48%, with only two catastrophic failures out of 135 missions. Not surprisingly, Musk fired employees who raised safety concerns.

Fire the Safety Watchdogs

One of the first things the unelected South African sociopath’s fake “Department” inflicted on America was to illegally and unconstitutionally demand the resignation of Michael Whittaker, the Federal Aviation Administration official whom Musk considered a nemesis for daring to fine SpaceX $600,000 for violating safety standards. In September, Whittaker told a congressional committee that the fines were “the only tool we have to get compliance on safety matters.”

Since Whittaker’s removal from the FAA and the aggressive budget cuts and staffing reductions, U.S. aviation fatalities more than doubled compared to the same period in 2024.

Government Contracts and Conflicts of Interest

Of course, these cuts coincide with SpaceX securing lucrative FAA contracts, such as a potential $2 billion deal to replace Verizon’s air traffic communications system with Starlink and a separate FAA agreement to test Starlink terminals for managing U.S. airspace. You see, these “masters of the universe” can’t seem to make a buck unless they can cheat, rig the game, and turn the government of, by, and for “the people” into an appendage of their affairs.

As I write this, the unelected South African sociopath sits in his very first meeting of Trump’s Cabinet of Freaks and Curiosities, the proud recipient of government contracts courtesy of We, The People, nearing $40 billion and counting.

This is the kind of person who is now running rampant through the government that actual patriots fought, bled, and died to entrust to us. Glibly waving a chainsaw while he cuts the lifelines of our fellow Americans, our communities, our futures, and ruins America’s once-good name around the world.

The Fake Best Gamer in the World!

Consider this: Musk is such a poser with a pathetic need for attention that he recently pretended to be a top-ranked player of games like Path of Exile 2 and Diablo IV. While his accounts openly appeared on global leaderboards, analysis of his gameplay revealed inconsistencies with his self-proclaimed “expertise.” After actual gamers exposed his rookie mistakes and poor gameplay, Musk reached into his tediously boring bag of tricks and pulled out the old standards—juvenile whining, trolling, denial, and attacks.

After all the excuses and taunts ran their course, the unelected South African billionaire sociopath finally admitted he cheated. Musk hired ringers to play for him and used other tactics that violated the games’ terms of service. Other players would be kicked off the platform for similar offenses, but the richest parasite on Earth won’t face any consequences.

The moral of the story is that Musk is such a narcissist, he can’t just play a game; he has to pretend to be the best in the world.

Please, take a moment to sit and think about how fundamentally pathetic that is. Never mind the challenge or the fun of learning as one goes and the satisfaction of solving or overcoming each obstacle. Knowing he’s a fraud and his ranking is false doesn’t matter to him. It’s that everyone thinks he’s an awesome gamer. He’s a “winner.” Look, Ma! I’m somebody! This is the story of the charmed life of an underwhelming parasite.

Birds of a Feather, Grift Together

No wonder he’s such a fan of the convicted felon tax-cheating draft-dodging wannabe king of the world who, although he likes to brag about his “very big brain” and boasts about having gone to a top business school, doesn’t know when to use “you’re” and “your.” As his niece Mary Trump exposed, her convicted felon uncle paid people to attend his university lectures, take his university exams, and write his papers. Studying, applying oneself to a task, and putting in the work takes just too much time that a slimy grifter could better spend prowling discos and grabbing an unsuspecting female by the privates.

These trust-funded parasites sure love to lecture us about a “meritocracy”, don’t they! As someone who actually did attend my university lectures and exams, reaching into my Psych 201 toolkit, I’d venture to say that somewhere in their poor excuse for souls, they are well aware of what frauds they are. By calling for a “meritocracy,” they believe we are all hypnotized into not seeing how fundamentally unfit they are. Though, if a “meritocracy” actually existed, Trump and Musk would already in prison and starring in their own episode of “American Greed” for selling end-times survival kits and roach-infested timeshares, not in the halls of power beating America into an autocracy.

So, please, for the love of everything—stop calling Elon Musk an “innovator.” He’s more like Elizabeth Holmes, Sam Bankman-Fried, and Adam Neumann—a toxic blend of narcissism, sociopathic self-enrichment, cult-like complicity, and bullshit that always ends in catastrophe for society.

Musk’s profit-over-people ethos, criminality, unchecked ambition, unearned arrogance, emotional immaturity and disregard for ethics are symptoms of the broken system that is letting him get away with it—for now. How much longer are we going to take it?
