JD Vance: The Billionaires’ Political Hit Man
Why the GOP is most likely behind the Epstein chaos
Everywhere we look, we see a new story about Trump and his pedo-bestie Jeffrey Epstein, but there’s just something about the reports that I can’t quite get out of my head. As much as I like watching Trump and his GOP stooges squirm, none of these stories are new. With the exception of the birthday letter piece in the Wall Street Journal, everything in these stories is old news. Some of it we have known for years, and other parts we have known for decades.
I’m glad people are finally talking about it as they should, but why does Trump’s base suddenly care about this now when they never have before?
To find the answer, I looked to one of my favorite old Latin questions, “Cui bono?” Loosely translated, it means “who benefits?” Turns out that is the right question to ask.
As Trump made his rise to power, and then did it again, folks on the left hammered away at his past, especially his treatment of women and his unbearably creepy attitude toward young girls, even his own daughter. The list of incidents, accusations, and just disgusting stuff he has said in public or admitted to saying or doing – it’s enough to turn any decent person’s stomach.
But the right-wing media juggernaut, owned and operated by the billionaire class, never said a word about it, except to excuse it, call it fake news, or say that it’s all just a giant conspiracy created by Barack Rodham O’Clinton.
So why the change? Why is every right-wing talking head now suddenly, after decades of ignoring Trump’s sexual criminality, putting the pieces together and demanding accountability? Cui bono?
I think I may have the answer, and that answer is JD Vance. It is in no way irresponsible to say that JD Vance is owned by our billionaire class. Billionaire money bought him a seat in the Senate, and it’s certainly the only reason JD Vance was elevated to the Vice-Presidency. He was once one of the most aggressively anti-Trump republicans, and he’s on record calling Trump “America’s Hitler”.
JD Vance is allowed to exist in politics because when the time comes, he’ll do what the money tells him to do. Of that we are certain. So when Rupert Murdoch, the founder of News Corp and owner of Fox News summoned JD Vance to his ranch in Montana just days before the “Epstein Birthday Letter” story broke, I think it’s safe to say that the story and its aftermath were the reason for the visit. JD Vance, it seems, has received his orders, and like a good little wealth class soldier, he’s keeping his mouth shut and waiting for Rupert and the billionaires to make him President.
To be clear, this is all conjecture. I don’t know for certain this is happening the way I say it is, but a betting man would probably lose a lot of money wagering against me.
But for those who believe me incorrect, I’ll leave you with this: While all this Epstein stuff is dominating every news cycle, if it wasn’t, every story would be about the shaky economy and projections that we are very close to some serious economic trouble.
They have their tax cuts, and corporate corruption is now entirely legal. The only way to disrupt that is to tank the economy, as Trump seems certain to do. So I’ll ask the question just one more time.
Cui bono?
Brett Pransky is a writer, a teacher, a father, and a husband, but rarely in that order. He spends his days amplifying the voices of freedom and democracy as an Editor right here at The Political Voices Network, and he spends his nights trying to fix the world one clever sentence at a time.
Vance is targeting women who anti-biblically think they are full human beings. With the world watching, he described women without children as a discredit to our country. He called them “cat ladies”. He showed his disgust for females, suggesting he considers them as reproductive livestock. He is in step with the republican supreme court that surely wants to eradicate the Separation of Church and State and move the USA in line with Iran, Afghanistan, Saudi Arabia, etc. where atrocities against women have resulted in international condemnation and arrest warrants.
