Hi, and welcome back to day 73 of the brand new Donald Trump regime in his first 100 days. We are cruising into the last month of the first 100 days. And yesterday, Cory Booker stole the Donald's limelight. So Donald got it back today in an event at the Rose Garden when he called it Liberation Day. That's right.

It's Liberation Day, folks. What it actually is is, well, Tariff Day. He announced reciprocal tariffs against every country on the planet. And by the way, you know what else he said? He said, if there had been tariffs during the Great Depression, there wouldn't have been a Great Depression. Guess what, folks? There were. tariffs during the Great Depression.

And in fact, Herbert Hoover signed the Smoot-Hawley Bill in 1930, which brought about additional tariffs. It destroyed our international trade, decimated an already decimated economy, and caused strife and tension across the globe. Some historians and economists say it even helped lead to World War II. Well, it's Day 73 of Trump.
