They don’t care about the Constitution, and they never did

All my right-wing neighbors used to carry a pocket Constitution. They don’t do this anymore.

The first time I ever saw a pocket Constitution I was a kid in the late 80s. A friend of mine had one of those Rush Limbaugh dads, and he loved to show it to us as he droned on for years about the Gulf War or welfare queens or the weapons of mass destruction that never actually existed.
